The word "Seersucker" is of Persian origin. It translates as "milk and sugar" and refers to the structure of the material that has portions woven at different tensions, which give it an embossed appearance. It is a comfortable material for summer because it does not stick to the skin.
The shirt dress with a pleated skirt and short sleeves is our simple but effective version. It is made of orange checked cotton seersucker and you can also wear it to the office. It also has pockets!
